How To Deal With USB Issues with Xerox Printer?
Can you imagine the office work without a printer? Of course, not. Office requires a lot of printing work and no doubt, the requirement of a printer for a college student and school student is more. If your Xerox printer is having USB issue, then please note that Xerox machines do not support USB adapters. This printer requires IEEE 1284 bit directional parallel cable. However, many times, it’s a software problem, so let’s move ahead to solve this issue.
- Power on your laptop and wait for the Desktop screen to appear. Press Windows + R button to open the run dialog box or just click on the Start button and choose Run.
- Type “MSCONFIG” in the empty box and hit Enter key or just click Open.
- The System Configuration Utility window will appear on the screen, click Selective Startup and uncheck the box beside “Load Startup Group Items”.
- Now, you have to click on the Apply button and then OK.
- Once this is done, you’ll be prompted to reboot your computer. Click on the Restart button.
- Once your system gets restarted, only the Windows OS will run. In this case, you cannot see any icons, besides the time on the taskbar.
- Repeat the process again. If the problem is fixed then, one more application will be loaded into the memory.
- Check the changes by going back to the original configuration by selecting Run box again.
- Enter MSCONFIG and click OK.
- Go to Normal Startup, click Apply and then OK.
- Now, your computer will restart normally.
